Fashion News Editor
Conde Nast seeks a Fashion News Editor for a full-time staffposition.  
Pitch clear ideas and creative concepts on trends for the fashionnews section of Lucky, working closely and collaborating with thefashion department. This person will also pitch ideas and conceptsfor the Stylist sections as well, seeing them through fromconception to finish. Write and oversee writers, when necessary,for those sections, working with the photo department to organizenecessary shoots as well as concepts for those shoots, work withart department to develop and refine story concepts and visualpresentation, work with the fashion department on all market workacross fashion and accessories from luxury to mass for those pagesand sections, as well as some photo researching, whennecessary. 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Writing and assigning front-of-book pieces
  • Conceiving, pitching, and shaping ideas for the print, DigitalEditions and website
  • Contributing to feature packages and feature well stories, asneeded
  • Assisting with market work and desk side appointments
-         4  yearsworking on an editorial team
-         Strong writingand reporting skills
-         A proven historyof fashion editing and reporting.  Published clipsdemonstrating the ability to speak in an authoritative yetaccessible voice
  • Experience with fashion editing
  • An in-depth knowledge of the fashion industry and trends
  • Deep contacts within fashion industry and an interest in streetstyle and an ability to spot trends before they mushroom
  • An understanding of the Lucky brand and voice
  • An interest in serving the reader
  • An ability to work collaboratively and be flexible
