KTHV-TV, the Gannett-owned CBS affiliate in Little Rock, Arkansas seeks a Digital Sales Manager (DSM) who will be responsible for creating and executing a digital sales strategy for Today’s THV. The DSM will be responsible for delivering customer solutions through our diverse digital properties (todaysthv.com, High School Sports, Deal Chicken, mobile platforms, our 15 neighborhood sites) and other initiatives. The DSM will be responsible for achieving departmental sales goals by working with the local and national sales teams. They must understand digital audience measurement through online video and mobile analytics. This position will also be responsible for creating digital sales packages, assisting AE's and the national rep firm in selling digital platforms, conducting on-going digital training for the sellers, disseminate digital stats, serve as a liaison between KTHV Sales and Gannett Digital, develop relationships with digital ad agencies, maintain inventory control of sites, forecasting/pending, ZAG campaign management/execution and client interaction. This position reports to the General Sales Manager.



Responsibilities

Manage key local, regional and national accounts within the market area.
Maintain customer satisfaction and accountability through consultative selling.
Network nationally, regionally and locally to stay abreast of emerging digital and online trends, rates and product solutions.
Expand sales footprint with existing accounts by introducing new products, services and developing new applications.
Coach, train, motivate, and develop the sales staff on growing digital revenue streams, audiences and products.
Accurately identify, monitor and forecast digital sales and marketing trends for key business segments.
Review and adjust metrics to monitor sales/market share change.
Achieve sales operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to overall strategic plan by monitoring competitive products and feedback from market.
Actively develops digital sales opportunities and communicates to the account executives and management team.
Serve as strategic partner to News Director to grow robust return path and successfully deploy all other digital initiatives in the Information Center.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years digital sales experience; prior broadcast sales experience preferred. College degree in marketing/advertising or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expert knowledge of all facets of digital sales and marketing.
Excellent people management skills
Excellent communication skills, conflict management and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills in a fast paced environment, deadline driven environment.
Position requires a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving history, as well as reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Proficient with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
