Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Director of Audience Development, the Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and execution of all marketing and communications for FRONTLINE, including publicity, media relations, promotions, digital engagement, online advertising, social media marketing, blogger relations, and search engine optimization. Additionally, the Account Manager will help develop an innovative e-marketing strategy to identify and engage FRONTLINEs online audience on emerging digital and mobile platforms. The Account Manager will also manage budgets, define and articulate objectives, goals, and success measures. He/she will collaborate with film and web producers, as well as vendors, freelancer colleagues and junior staff.

Skills Required:
Define and articulate short- and long-term marketing goals and develop innovative digital promotional strategies to engage and grow audiences, vial both broadcast and digital channels. Create and monitor promotion budgets for the series broadcasts, Web sites, and related projects. Conceive, execute and track promotional and outreach strategies for foundation proposal submissions and reporting. Oversee daily workflow, assigning priorities to competing demands, evaluating staffing needs, and contracting outside assistance as necessary. Formulate program promotion and outreach plans targeting national traditional media online outlets, and third party groups. Develop, maintain, and identify new media contacts to promote the FRONTLINE series and its programming. A minimum of five to seven years of communications (public relations, media relations, advertising, web) and/or marketing experience.

Educational Requirements:
BA/BS required.
