Conde Nast Media Group seeks a Director of Procurement for afull-time staff position.  
 
Overview
 
The Conde Nast Media Group is the corporate-selling division ofConde Nast, responsible for negotiating and enforcing annualrevenue-based contracts with approximately 400 key advertisingaccounts. Those accounts run advertising across various Conde Nastmedia: magazines, websites, and related products (tablets, apps,etc.).
The Media Services Department (within the Media Group) worksclosely with and supports the Corporate Partnership Directors, byformulating strategy and negotiating contracts. The Department isresponsible for direct contact with clients with respect to settingplanning rates, proposals, contracts, as well as any ratediscrepancies that may arise.
 
Responsibilities:
-          Primaryindividual responsible for our 2 largest accounts, P&G andL’Oreal, in the Negotiation/Contract process
-          Superviseand work with the 6 Business Directors to enhance their negotiationskills
-          Support theSr. Director in running the Media Services department
-          Ad hocreports as necessary
 
Qualifications:
-          Minimum of10 years of agency/procurement experience
-          Excellentnegotiation skills
-          Excellentcommunication skills – both written and oral
-          Ability totrain and develop talent
-          Ability tomulti-task
-          A teamplayer
