This role is responsible for defining, managing and improving all aspects of integration and operations for Kindle Periodicals. This includes building relationships with content providers and technology vendors, working with internal stakeholders (business owners, product managers, engineering teams and operations) and driving end to end integration of digital content with Amazon systems. The individual will own and manage Amazon's content delivery and reporting specifications, respond to proposals and manage relationships with the content vendors to meet overall goals and priorities. You will interact with digital content providers to stay on top of new content deliveries, changes in specs, resolution of problems including issues related to ingestion, quality and reporting. You will lay the foundation for seamless flow of approved digital content throughout the digital supply chain from content providers to consumers. The candidate will improve our partner experience by delivering superior support, and by relentlessly advocating for content providers throughout the enterprise. You will also own the technical relationship after launch, which includes monitoring and reporting delivery performance as well as improving the product our customers receive. There is a significant project management component to this job as well, driving end-to-end implementation of new content initiatives.

Basic Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience managing cross-functional projects, programs with tight deadlines, product or process definition, and ideally having taken a product or process design from concept to execution
- Experience working with XML and knowledge of XML fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL, Unix
- Experience in digital or print publishing
- MBA
- Comfort with technology, and general knowledge of digital media data elements, FTP, Images, Encoding, DRM, etc.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and ability to influence other teams to meet goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with the design and utilization of complex systems
- Other qualifications include a track record of complex and creative problem solving and the desire to create and build new processes
- Software development experience a plus
- Experience in digital media integration, retailing, services
- Intermediate understanding of Excel
