Working as a Custom Content Editor in the Physical Sciences division of our Scientific,
Technical, Medical and Scholarly business, you will oversee the daily editorial operations of our Food Quality journal. This includes generating and editing content about food safety measurements and methods for quality assurance. You will also coordinate with production, design, sales, authors, and etc. to make sure the journal is published on time and accurately. Additionally, you will be responsible for uploading content so the journal can be delivered electronically. The ideally candidate must have experience working in a B2B environment with some knowledge of the food quality industry.

Requirements
• Minimum five years' editing experience—preferably working in the food quality industry
• Experience working in a B2B environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent negotiation/interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Flexible team player able to handle fast pace and multiple assignments
• Must be able and willing to travel to various conferences throughout the year
