The PR & Communications Manager is an integral piece to the unveiling of "Machine Zone 2.0" and reports directly into the CEO/Cofounder. You should be a great writer/presenter, adept with social media outlets, and have experience launching products especially in gaming. You will be responsible for managing and driving our external PR firm and responsible for all external communications and initiatives. Your work will directly impact the success of the new positioning of the company and the launch of new titles seen and heard around the world; this is your chance to leave your legacy and be part of gaming history!


Collaborate closely with external PR firm to drive branding initiative, PR campaigns, social media outreach and product launches
Responsible for building the Machine Zone brand worldwide
Develop viral, grassroots marketing movements
Work cross-functionally to ensure website is updated and well-represented
Explore and manage co-marketing activities with partner
Coordinate and work with recruiting team on trade shows, conferences and events
Maintain schedule of campaigns, events and conferences associated with various objectives and target markets/customers/segments
Work closely with vendors and the leadership team to create swags, marketing collateral and other print/online branded materials
Ensure consistent adherence to brand guidelines for all marketing materials and presentations


7+ years of PR or marketing communications experience
BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field required
Experience in social gaming, MMOs, or mobile gaming
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
Adept with social media tools like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Able to manage external PR firm and vendors
Previous experience in managing tradeshows and events
Proven history of managing multiple concurrent projects and meeting tight deadlines
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
