As a Media Sales Executive you will be expected to:
• Prospect, acquire and grow new display media accounts for a designated territory through cold calls to clients
• Create and manage an account list of small to medium size advertisers
• Develop and cultivate relationships at all levels from CMO to Brand Managers to Media Buyers
• Maximize customer retention through developing relationships with key accounts
• Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
• Proactively conduct research in the assigned territory sector utilising various resources (internet, publications, networking, referrals, etc.)
• Hit quarterly target quota deliverables
• Update and create online media advertising proposals
• Assist the Account Management team in optimizing online advertising campaigns
• Navigate internally with various business units to create compelling media solutions for advertisers



Minimum Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in online and/or off-line media advertising marketing or direct marketing experience
• Phone or field based sales experience, with a history of demonstrable high performance
• Proven track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business and growing and retaining existing business
• Strong negotiation, influencing skills and an ability to persuade at the executive management level
• Passionate about online media and the internet, with a desire to learn
• Strong understanding of marketing dynamics including demographic and psychographic targeting and brand positioning
• BA/BS (Marketing/Advertising preferred)
• Competent in the English language both written and spoken
