Retail Company seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee the company’s digital media strategy with the goal of driving awareness, traffic, engagement and conversation for the brand. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate, loves high-end fashion and has a strong understand of digital media in retail space.

• Manage and develop online social media presence and communities on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram and serve as point person for incoming social requests coming directly from fans and followers
• Develop social media copy for both editorial and marketing efforts
• Manage social marketing projects such as sweepstakes, brand collaborations, photo shoots and blogger events from strategy development through creative and social execution
• Brainstorm, research, source creative, craft and edit posts for the blog
• Liaison between all departments (e-commerce, buying, visual, store managers, PR) and digital team relating to social projects and assets
• Analyze effective benchmarks for measuring impact of social media efforts in order to determine campaign effectiveness through relevant monitoring tools and implement a strategic response
• Manage and oversee a team of interns to provide support for viral marketing initiatives
• Stay abreast of key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging social media / marketing / e-commerce technologies and report on best practices
• Manage Associate Contributor program including Instagram, Twitter and Personal Stylists posts
• Cultivate relationships with fashion influencers and bloggers and formulate creative ways to work together

• 4+ years experience in fashion and digital space with a thorough knowledge of marketing and PR
• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or equivalent
• Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills with a strong understanding of blogging, social networks and high-fashion
• Strategic and creative thinker who excels in execution based on brand initiatives
• Familiar with ROI, digital analytics and social media monitoring tools
• Resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment who is well organized and able to manage multiple projects
• Highly proficient in Wordpress, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, Photoshop and Illustrator skills a plus.
• Existing fashion blog and/or a strong social media presence preferred
