Web Copy Editor – Style.com

Conde Nast seeks a Web Copy Editor for a full-time staffposition.  
Primary Responsibilities:
-         Copy edit andfact check all content for Style.com, including editorial features,blog posts, slideshows, headlines/display copy, multimedia, andmarketing copy
-         Query appropriatewriters and editors to resolve any issues with copy
-         Work closely witheditorial, design, photo, and production departments to ensure thequality and timeliness of the site’s multiple daily publishes,including keeping track of the status and flow of all copy, and, asthe last editorial eye, reviewing and signing off on all contentbefore it is published
-         Maintain andperiodically update all Sytle.com copy editing resources and guidesto make sure they are accurate and reflect any editorialchanges
-         As the lead copyeditor, help to manage any freelancers and provide testing,training, and guidance as needed
-         3-5 yearsexperience
-         Conscientious,detail-oriented, and efficient, impeccable understanding of grammarand good writing
-         Strong copyediting and research/fact checking experience in very fast-paceddigital environment
-         Proficient inChicago annual of Style, MS Word, InCopy/InDesgin, MAC/PCplatforms
-         Experience withHTML and content management systems
-         Preferred –familiarity with fashion, beauty, society and culture is a plus
-         Fast, accurateand the ability to prioritize
