Youth Renewal Fund (YRF) is seeking a Communications Coordinator for our New York office. YRF was established in 1989 to provide supplemental education to disadvantaged children in Israel. This position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience. The Coordinator will be responsible for performing marketing and social media related activities, supporting events as well as: Maintaining website, Facebook page and twitter feedsPerforming in-house design work including invitations, evites, presentations, donor recognition and communication pieces as requiredSupporting efforts for regular newsletterSupporting initiatives for $1 million annual fundraising gala in addition to other events including golf and basketball tournaments, donor cultivation events, Young Leadership Benefit, etc.Communicating with donors on a regular basis and providing updates on YRF programs and activities The Coordinator will have the opportunity to get involved with other activities related to the organization. YRF's New York office has a small staff, which allows for flexibility and offers employees the potential to contribute to many aspects of non-profit operations. From time to time, the Coordinator will be expected to help with general office management tasks as well.Youth Renewal Fund has a 23-year track record of success and is poised to grow exponentially. The successful applicant will possess strong organizational skills, computer literacy, an ability to handle diverse projects, and a desire to be a hands-on in a small, but exciting organization with great growth potential. Creativity, strong writing skills, attention to detail and a desire to take on new challenges are a must. Knowledge of Photoshop, HTML and/or web design a plus.Competitive salary and benefits.
