JOB DESCRIPTION:

Only over-achievers need apply! WeddingWire seeks a full-time National Digital Sales Executive who will play a key role in establishing strategic relationships with top industry advertisers. Our sites and mobile platforms are growing rapidly and we need strategic sellers to ensure that relevant advertisers reap the benefits of our success. WeddingWire is looking for experienced sales people with a proven track record encompassing both clients and agencies-and understanding that delicate balance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively identify, pitch, and close ad sales deals with new national advertising businesses

Communicate with clients in-person and over the phone to develop high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant to optimize their advertising expenditures

Create innovative sales proposals

Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements

Grow and maintain existing client relationships

Manage the relationship between clients and agencies

REQUIREMENTS

5 years of digital and general media sales experience

Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline, and a proven track record of exceeding goals

Extensive contacts and relationships with leading agencies and clients

Experience selling in relevant endemic and non-endemic categories a plus

Excellent presentation skills; has the ability to radiate confidence and energy over the phone and in-person

Entrepreneurial spirit driven to achieve sales goals
