The Digital Sales Planner is responsible for ensuring that their assigned sales representatives digital campaigns run smoothly from proposal to completion. This is a fast-paced job that requires “thinking on your feet” and quick action.

Responsibilities:
•Support the local digital advertising sales team in meeting the needs of the client and revenue growth of the organization.
•Focus on client service and on trouble-shooting to ensure client satisfaction.
•Develop close relationships with the sales team and act as point of contact for advertisers when sales representatives are unavailable.
•Organize activities, paperwork and schedules efficiently and in a way that others can easily access.
•Execute systems, processes and workflows that are consistent and can be easily understood by others while following standard operating procedures.
•Demonstrate efficiency in tracking correspondence to provide a timely follow up.

Duties:
•Run weekly and/or monthly reports for sales representatives
•Provide inventory projections for sales representatives with accurate available inventory for advertiser proposals.
•Monitor live campaigns and recommend optimizations when necessary to ensure that they run effectively as possible to meet the advertiser’s goals.
•Follow up on live/completed campaigns to ensure that they comply with the signed Insertion Order.
•Ensure that the trafficking team has all of the required materials to run the campaign correctly.
•Traffic Rich Media campaigns using advertisers creative assets.
•Traffic and monitor online video pre-roll campaigns.
•Provide sales representatives with screen shots for their live campaigns.
•Update fixed position/road block calendar when required.

Knowledge and Abilities:
•Demonstrate knowledge of how to meet client needs in furtherance of business results.
•Represent the company in a professional manner and takes steps to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Understand all of the Daily News’ digital advertising products and processes, practices and policies related to sales.
•Well versed in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
•Effectiveness in working in a business setting and staying focused on goals.
•Allocate time productively when there are multiple demands and make efficient decisions that are customer-focused and business savvy, even when details are ambiguous. Know when to seek others’ input and when to operate autonomously.
