STATEMENT OF THE JOB: The main function of the circulation and special events manager is to handle all local and regional distribution of the publications for the designated market. This includes strategizing with the publisher on the best and most effective distribution points. Also, maintaining relationships with all the key contacts at all distribution locations. The job also requires involvement with various other areas in the market including organizing special events, working with clients and promoting the Where brand in the market.


QUALIFICATIONS: YOU MUST LIVE IN THE AREA AND KNOW THE CITY!
•Must be organized, efficient and detail oriented.
•Must be personable and able to communicate with clientele in the tourism industry.
•Must be able to multi-task and manage time to ensure all aspects of the job are seen to completion.
•Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•High school degree or bachelors degree preferred


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for 75 to 100 on-site visits to hotel employees per week
•Maintain all hotel fulfillments of all publications, maps and ancillary products.
•Maintain relationships in the hotel industry with Concierge, Hotel Staff, etc.
•Assist Director with strategic planning and identifying market opportunities for new
•Maintain comp mail list
•Maintain all paperwork for distribution of products for BPA
•Create invitations for concierge events
•Act as liaison with clients for events/hotel marketing promotions
•Maintain RSVPs for all events
•Assist in execution of events, details, planning, gift bags, etc.
