Roll Call's Ad Sales department seeks an outstanding sales professional
for an Account Executive position focused on issue & advocacy
business. Candidates must have ability to function effectively in a
fast-paced, team oriented, high pressure sales environment. Must possess
excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task. Minimum two
years experience in print and digital ad sales or an ad sales support
role is required. Bachelors degree and personal interest in public
policy, government or political science a plus.
The
ideal candidate is highly professional, aggressive, possesses a mature
and positive attitude especially when dealing with customers and
understands the urgency of achieving and exceeding sales quota. Must
have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook experience.
Job
responsibilities include managing all aspects of client relationships,
working closely with internal support personnel and the Publisher to
achieve performance and revenue goals. The Outside Sales Representative
is responsible for existing accounts and new business development within
a specific territory. Requirements include renewing business and
closing new sales in order to meet and exceed the quota. The Account
Executive is also responsible for extensive prospecting activity
including cold calling, after hours networking and identifying
organizations for professional participation. The position reports
directly to the Publisher.
