Digital PR Officer
THE ROLE:Proactively generating and placing stories about the company, products, store openings, events, people, and brand ethics in online media.Researching and developing online outlets, contacts and influencers in North America in addition to entertaining and maintaining relationships with current contacts.Composing press releases, pitch letters and collateral for product launches, retail campaigns and ethical campaigns.Organizing, coordinating and attending press visits, press launches, grand openings and special events.Participating in brainstorm sessions, strategy planning meetings, and weekly update meetings with the PR and Social Media team. Campaigning for a better world.OUR PERFECT MATCH:Strong existing online beauty contacts.3+ years experience in media relations, social media or communications.Active in social media. Comfortable on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, and Flickr platforms.A visionary with out-of-the-box ideas. A team player with the ability to take direction.Positive interpersonal skills (no attitudes or big egos please).Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Confident, charismatic, and comfortable sharing ideas and representing the brand.Flexible and adaptable to LUSH culture.A self motivated go-getter with the ability to focus, prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, high-energy environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, BurrellesLuce, CisionPoint, and LexisNexis.Please include a cover letter with resume.
