OUP is looking for a Development Editor to join its prestigious American English Language Teaching (AMELT) division. The Development Editor is someone who makes day-to-day decisions related to developing content from marketing research to customer-ready product; manages new titles (print and digital) to ensure that projects are published on schedule and on budget; implements market research into product development to ensure the correctness and clarity of material, among other related tasks.Candidates must have strong organizational, communication, leadership skills, and a solid background in content editing. Job Requirements:Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or greater, and exhibit excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills. They should have at least three years of development editing experience, preferably in ESL/ELL.
