The Senior Manager will join the Digital Content & Programming team, responsible for managing new content platforms (e.g., iPad, IPhone, Xbox, etc.). Reporting to the Director, Content & Programming in the Nickelodeon Digital team. The position oversees the original content around our popular stars and characters like Victoria Justice, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Big Time Rush, and more. The Manager will keep a detailed programming calendar for all plans, pitch content ideas, and take initiative in proposing new programming and promotional strategies. Along with platform planning, the Senior Manager will enter content into the content management system, coordinate asset management, and analyze metrics & content trends to inform editorial decisions. The position has one report, an Editorial Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily updates to the new Nickelodeon platforms (e.g., iPad, iPhone, Xbox, etc.).
Analyze metrics and develop expertise in content performance
Develop and execute programming strategies to maximize viewership
Create, maintain, and distribute a weekly programming schedule and longer range calendar
Coordinate with various internal teams to create & gather content assets
Perform scheduling updates within content management system
Review all content to make sure updates are timely and accurate
Work with on air and multiplatform programming to create schedules that are strategically in sync
Maintain consistent and accurate Brand Voice as guided by Director of Content & Programming
Contribute new content ideas to brainstorm meetings
Create editorial plans alongside Director
Work with Content & Programming team members to create consistent site updates
Manage Editorial Coordinator

Basic qualifications:

5+ years working in a digital, mobile and/or programming environment
Direct, substantial experience managing digital content
Comfort using a variety of content management systems to locate, track, and manage assets
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs & knowledgeable about CMS systems

Desired qualifications:
Must be very detail oriented
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to think strategically and creatively
