This position is vital to the success of the business. The campaign trafficking manager works closely with our operations, finance, marketing, and sales staff—and their clients, and other internal staff—to traffic advertising across all of Company’s digital properties (online, email, mobile, video, etc).
You will provide the company sales team with outstanding service and support as well as strategic insights on our digital targeting capabilities and optimization. You will deliver successful advertising campaigns against client objectives and revenue forecasts, and provide top notch service to both internal (sales) and external clients. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the ad operations including ad trafficking, optimization, reporting (availability, SOV, financial/campaign), and customer service. The position is based in New York City and reports to the Manager of Online Operations.
REQUIREMENTS
•2+ years of direct, hands on experience managing online campaigns utilizing the 24/7 Real Media/OAS ad serving platform.
oExperience with creating availability reports, producing SOV calculations, responding/completing RFP’s, processing IOs, campaign set up, campaign optimization, and campaign reporting
•Experience trafficking across multiple platforms, including email, mobile, and video
•Strong communications skills
•Collaborative, can-do, positive approach

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Traffic and maintain display ad campaigns across company site(s)—desktop/mobile/email/video, ensuring that IO terms are met including delivery rates, start and end date, reporting requirements, etc.
•Work with various internal departments and 3rd party vendors to facilitate the implementation of integrated campaign elements, including online, mobile web/app and video ad serving.
•Maintain and communicate technical specs to sales, clients and agencies.
•Secure and test
•Work with finance team to deliver reporting for use in client billing in a timely fashion

EXPECTATIONS
•You will be the expert advisor to internal and external clients on media planning (pre-sales) and execution of media campaigns (post-sales)
•You will become a subject matter expert on targeting and optimization and you will provide intelligent insights on campaign results to both sales and to external clients and agencies.
Key accountabilities
Facilitate and/or execute client and house advertising across the company’s digital properties. This includes:
•Providing inventory availability and traffic metrics to sales/marketing for use in selling campaigns to customers (including completion of RFP’s with SOV calculations, ad specifications, etc).
•Monitoring and reporting on inventory availability (site, email, mobile, etc) and publishing information for access by internal staff
oAlerting sales or others of issues or relevant trends
•Receives and processes insertion orders for digital campaigns
•Receives and tests creative elements (banners, text advertising copy, third party tags, etc.).
oPerforms copy chasing, as necessary—working with in-house sales staff, client agency staff, and/or clients directly, as needed.
•Maintains the advertising schedule/calendar, communicating with advertising clients (and their company sales representatives) and their traffic mangers throughout all stages of advertising campaigns.
•Monitors advertising campaigns using 24/7 Realmedia Open Ad Stream/OAS, MOceans/mobile, and other applications and optimizes campaign performance.
oWorks with clients, third party agencies, and rich media/third party services, as necessary.
•Compiles reports for sales and clients
•Reconciles and reports on 3rd party delivery campaigns
•Keeps track and reports on advertising inventory availability.
oCoordinates with Finance to reconcile client campaign results for billing.

Skills and capabilities profile

Education and training•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Previous work experience
•3+ years experience in an online operations role with 2+ years direct, hands on experience trafficking campaigns with the 24/7 Real Media OAS ad serving technology.
•Mobile trafficking experience helpful.
Knowledge
•Must be an expert with OAS.
IT
•Must be an expert with the OAS platform with at least 2 years experience trafficking advertising using OAS.
•Familiarity with various advertising media, including rich media (pointroll, etc.) helpful.
•Experience with Salesforce a plus
•Content management systems (CMS) experience a plus.
•Video experience a plus.
•Basic HTML knowledge helpful.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
