Develop sales revenue from new advertisers as well as maximize revenue from assigned list (active & non-active accounts). Finding and developing new and non-traditional advertisers is expected, as well as revenue opportunities in Digital platforms.

  • Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive sales pitches/presentations and establish close business relationships with all levels of clients
  • Understand customer needs, and develop solutions for those needs
  • Strong knowledge of clients in order to accurately forecast billing by quarter
  • Manage agency & client relationships through day-to-day contact
  • Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients, agencies and advertisers
  • Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service
  • Actively participate in National Sales Office projects, station projects and sales events
  • Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital business. Work closely and collegially with Telemundo Digital team
  • Selling of Internet, Digital Out of Home, and Mobile advertising
  • Schedule and execute meetings/presentations with buyers, planners and clients


  • Bachelors Degree / Minimum 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in television sales or other area of media sales
  • Must be able to handle working under the pressure of deadlines and revenue goals
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively with others in the entire sales organization; NSO Sales Team, Stations, and Management within a multi-cultural environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional writing, communication, negotiation & presentation skills are critical

  • Must be willing to work overtime, sometimes on short notice due to project deadlines and to attend after-hours clients events
  • Must be willing to travel, as needed and on weekends, with short notice

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to implement, sell, and execute multi-market & multi-platform campaigns


  • Display passion in the product and possess a positive/aggressive work ethic
  • Strong leadership and organization skills; detailed-oriented; trust-worthy with confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Internet & Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of Nielsen ratings
  • Experience with Scarborough, Polk, research data, Forecast software (Matrix) & traffic systems (Wide Orbit)
  • Self-directed with proven ability to execute and multi-task on a regular basis with little direction
  • Capacity to work and analyze numeric data
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strength in prospecting, generating proposals and closing the sale
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at the senior level
  • Ability to understand brand & marketing objectives
  • Prefer Bi-lingual Spanish and English (speak, read & write), but not required
