Sales Manager, Journals
Oxford University Press is seeking an experienced sales manager to develop new business in its journal portfolio including print and digital advertising/sponsorships and supplements. •Sell sponsorship of journal supplements to pharmaceutical and medical device company decision makers•Establish long-term relationships and work with medical communications companies to insure OUP journals are used as a distribution channel for custom content •Develop sales opportunities and sell to major hospital chains and institutions•Establish relationships with key academic publishers and create an advertising program for their publications across all related OUP journals and websitesJob Requirements:B.A. /B.S. required. Three years’ experience in sales necessary; agency and product management contacts preferred. Candidates must be highly organized, have excellent oral and written presentation skills and be proficient in MS Office.
