Your tasks
The Digital Channel and Marketing Development Group is looking for a Web Designer to join the team. The Web Designer will work in a collaborative team environment with content creators, marketers, developers, as well as other creative roles to develop and execute design concepts based on direction set by the Creative Director for various online projects including site design for both desktop and mobile, newsletter design, both static and rich-media ad units, and creative solutions in support of several content and ecommerce sites developed to engage the audience. This individual must have a strong visual eye, be able to create coherent and visually sophisticated design that extends our online brands balancing user-friendly design with both technical and marketing requirements.

On a day-to-day basis, the Web Designer is responsible for creating various online assets which can include but are not limited to banners, landing pages, promotional email, etc. This individual will work closely with the creative team and other members of the production and marketing teams to optimize the user experience and meet overall project goals and strategy.

Primary Duties:
?Conceptualize, develop and execute design concepts based on project goals.
?Design the overall look and feel on a range of projects both large and small while maintaining the brand integrity and keeping in mind the perspective of the user, marketing message and overall usability will be key in this role.
?Possess a strong knowledge of latest digital and traditional design standards and keep abreast of advancements in the design field to share with creative and technology team.
?A keen sense of the use of typography within the online/interactive space is a strength.

The Web Designer will have the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about the creative design process, able to meet business requirements, and meet deliverables based on a project plan.

Our requirements
?The ideal candidate for Web Designer will possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Commercial Art, Visual Communications, or Computer Graphics
?2-4 years of experience with eTailer preferable or equivalent experience reflected in portfolio.
?Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and Flash required.
?Experience with video and audio editing for a web environment a plus.
?Experience with the following desired: HTML, CSS, JQuery, JQuery Mobile.
?Comfortable working in MAC OS X and Windows XP platforms.
?Working knowledge with prototyping tools a plus.
?Self-motivated and a creative thinker with a strong sense of color and layout.
?Highly organized and comfortable with reporting on project?s progress to team as well as open to listening to feedback from stakeholders.
