Your tasks
The Random House Sales division is seeking a national account manager to join their team. The candidate will be responisble for maintaining, servicing, developing and maximizing sales of selected Random House client lists at Barnes & Noble, and insuring the entire client list is presented, maintained and marketed effectively on NOOK.

The national account amanager will also be responsible for:
?Maximizes sales growth at Barnes & Noble and NOOK.
?Develops, maintains and enhances relationships with key clients and customer contacts.
?Creates and assists in the development of customer marketing, advertising, promotional and publicity programs
?Regularly communicates all pertinent account specific information as it relates to clients and sales managers.
?Actively participates in all publisher meetings, with an eye toward product development and customer requirements.
?Manages department assistant and insures regular sales analysis is performed on merchandising, category and ramp periods.
?Champions make books and insures early buzz is created and spread throughout the greater sales organization.

Our requirements
Ideal candidates should have 5-7 years experience in publishing sales to Barnes and Noble with client publisher experience.

Required Skills:
?Strong communication and presentation skills.
?Excellent product knowledge and understanding of publishing functions.
?Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule workload.
?Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint

The candidate we seek must be a self starter, self-motivator, innovative, and creative. Finalist will be able to work independently as well as in a team.
