The Programming Coordinator, Digital Syndication will assist in programming digital video content from Scripps Networks' on-air brands (including Food Network, Cooking Channel, HGTV, DIY Network and Travel Channel) to ad-supported partner websites.

Specific Responsibilities:
•Maintain an editorial calendar of monthly programming themes
•Screen short-form video and group into strategic syndication categories
•Conceptualize short-form cut-downs from longer-form TV segments
•Work closely with Digital Video Operations team to ensure successful scheduling and publishing of monthly content feeds to syndication partners, and assist in troubleshooting any obstacles
•Ensure syndicated content is properly coded with metadata and ad keywords
•Gain understanding of the legal rights and restrictions of specific TV show content for distribution
•Run regular video metrics and SEO reporting to optimize syndication programming strategy
•Monitor video in the blogosphere and amateur-professional world for potential use within SNI syndication network

Desired Background:
•3-5 years’ experience in programming, content strategy or digital marketing
•Familiarity with lifestyle category topics: food and cooking, home and decorating, travel, parenting, health and wellness
•Experience working with metrics and sorting through data to gain insights, including a strong familiarity with SEO best practices
•Extremely proactive attitude when dealing with unfamiliar technology and processes
•Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
•Knowledge of television in lifestyle category
