Working across our lists, you will join our sales operations team to coordinate inventory flow between US, UK and distributor accounts in the Americas. Working with a large degree of autonomy in this newly created role, you will also implement and support our ongoing POD strategy in collaboration with sales, marketing, editorial, and finance.

Primary Responsibilities
-Monitor inventory rate of movement in the US for all Bloomsbury products against guidelines.
-Suggest reprints and reorders to maximize stock availability while limiting exposure to over-stock situations.
-Manage paperwork to receive shipments into distribution warehouses.
-Implement POD strategy to maximize supply across the list.
-Communicate with UK and track suggested orders for US-originated products shipping to the UK.

You must be highly-analytical, detail-oriented, and fluent with spreadsheets and databases yet flexible enough to work in a demanding, highly-complex environment across a wide range of products. You will have experience anticipating product demand using past history and emerging trends as well as the confidence to make decisions based on that information. The ideal candidate will have worked with distributors and freight forwarders and have at least three years in publishing. College degree required
