Staten Island Physician Practice, the largest multi-specialty medical practice on Staten Island, offers advanced state-of- the-art medical treatment, expertise and cutting-edge technology.

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to oversee all of Staten Island Physician Practice's marketing initiatives.


a.Develop sound marketing strategies while being attentive to competitor's product lines and marketing strategies.
b.Maintain a thorough understanding of the evolving market and competitive dynamics. This will include, but not be limited to, market segmentation, value proposition development, service positioning, branding, and communication development strategies.
c.Present to Senior Leadership "case studies" that guide marketing initiatives.
d.Support Chief Operating Officer in developing cross-channel programs and strategies.
e.Develop digital and social media strategies
f.Participate in meetings to understand key initiatives and new Service Line opportunities

a.Maintain top line knowledge of service line/specialty financials to understand trends
b.Manage Marketing P&L/Budget
c.Direct programs such that they attain key financial and usage targets and meet success criteria. Track and analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics to determine program ROI.

a.Work with legal team to ensure all communications protect SIPP and partner’s intellectual property and comply with applicable guidelines, regulations, and laws

a.Maintain a working knowledge of partners’ and competitors’ marketing initiatives outside of SIPP
b.Stay up to date on industry news
c.Stay up to date on new and emerging media outlets (e.g. social media)

a.Lead strategic marketing initiatives for practice service lines, specialties, and general offerings
b.Direct and manage projects through the entire lifecycle
c.Partner closely with project stakeholders on an on-going basis, including setting and managing expectations.
d.Suggest modifications to project scope and assist in developing contingency plans in order to address challenges.
e.Define project success criteria and review/analyze completed projects to recommend improvements for future projects.
f.Plan, execute and communicate project timelines and milestones and track project deliverables.
g.Support partners marketing initiatives

a.Prepare and revise creative concepts as necessary
b.Review media plans to ensure key initiatives are being met
c.Manage requests for participation in print advertising, digital advertising, commercials, and events
d.Find and propose opportunities for SIPP to purchase additional media, e.g. Special Interest Publications, online events

a.Manage current online Marketing tools/services: Website; Social Media, Patient Portal, Intranet
b.Make strategic recommendations on new and emerging digital and social technologies, platforms and portals (ie beyond Facebook and YouTube)
c.Increase consumer engagement and advocacy with SIPP brand through compelling digital and social programs resulting in acquisition of increased consumer engagement, awareness and influence.
d.Manage all aspects of digital program execution including: overseeing the development of content and translations, issuing PRFs and creative requests, managing all timelines and resources, legal approval of execution and contracts, managing information flow between internal/external teams and agencies, asset design and development, QA, and launch.
e.Establish key objectives and success metrics for each program (e.g., online conversations, tonal sentiment, viral impact, views, registrations, website visits, etc).
f.Ensure best practice and user centered design in all digital programs.

a.Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners for the mutual benefit of SIPP and partner brand for optimal revenue generation
b.Develop advocacy strategy including identification and engagement of advocates and key opinion leaders
c.Manage relationships with partners’ marketing teams and serve as the liaison between partners, marketing teams, and SIPP
d.Educate partners about SIPP and provide ongoing support, and materials to ensure partner-produced materials and communications meet brand standards

a.Liaison between practice and healthcare/community publications.
b.Partner with SIPP staff in the planning, coordination, and execution of personal appearances/participation on behalf of SIPP
c.Oversee all SIPP PR and Communications

a.Oversee all photography for SIPP, including website, signage, and print advertising

a.Responsible for ensuring any piece developed is on brand and has consistent messaging
b.Relay clear business objectives to internal/external creative teams to ensure business needs are being met

a.Train and develop additional Marketing/PR Staff
b.Attract, hire, and retain top talent, as needed

a.Working in collaboration with Human Resources, develop a plan to improve internal morale through improved communication and improved involvement in the SIPP business strategy.
b.Gaining input from leadership on content, issue a monthly employee newsletter.
c.Work with senior management on “talking points” documents for all other key communications.
d.Develop and implement an annual internal communications plan with HR

a.Improve service to patients by establishing systems to track what’s important to them.
b.Develop and report monthly via a customer scorecard
c.Provide feedback on secret shopper activities on a quarterly basis (appointment availability; facilities, etc.)


•Bachelor’s degree required
•5+ years of product marketing experience (or Master’s degree plus equivalent experience)
•Strong understanding of technology and experience in marketing software products.
•Ability to interpret and apply current software marketing trends.
•In depth knowledge of latest techniques in web analytics
•Strong project management capabilities for web projects
•Demonstrated ability to create effective, persuasive marketing pieces
•Budget management, including budget planning, forecasting, cost allocation, and vendor management
•Ability to stay flexible and agile in fast-paced work environment
•Ability to team with others, solve problems efficiently, deal positively with ambiguity, and drive results
•Ability to instill vision through personal drive, building enthusiasm and commitment in order to implement strategies and goals
•Strong writing and presentation skills
•Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and an ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
•Strong analytic, problem solving, and organizational skills
•Ability to travel as needed
•Must be extremely persuasive and able to build census quickly among different stakeholders across all business units. Requires strong leadership/influencing skills

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity for using a calculator and computer keyboard.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work is expected, onsite as well as offsite.
