The Video Advertising Solutions Product Manager (VASPM) will be responsible for defining, documenting, driving, and managing the comprehensive set of Genome video advertising platform business requirements. The VASM will translate overarching strategy into business and solutions specifications and establish linkages to overall product strategy and development for Genome video advertising solutions. The VASM will ensure that all digital video advertising solutions align with industry standards, market needs and Genome’s strategic and tactical business objectives.



The VASPM will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing industry-leading video ad solutions for the general market and specific advertising verticals

• Defining technical and business requirements for video ad solutions across various ad formats and platforms including documentation and maintenance of functional product and platform requirements specifications

• Establishing and monitoring ad solutions success metrics and P&L

• Building and managing video ad solutions roadmap, including milestones & budget analysis

• Collaborating with internal and external business units to bring video ad solutions to market including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering.

• Building revenue & pricing models to support business objectives and ensure profitability

• Producing comprehensive market requirements documents and business & use cases to support product development cycle

• Identify and manage key resources and vendors to enable and execute ad solution strategies

• Collaborating with operational teams to develop SOPs to support product roll-out, execution & sustained success

• Working with Product Development to translate MRDs into executable PRDs

• Conducting beta and testing programs to ensure effectiveness of ad solutions prior to larger roll out

• In collaboration with Product Marketing and Product Development manage product roll out, launch, and post-launch support

• Collaborating with marketing groups to drive sales and market adoption through education, enablement, and post-launch support



Required experience and knowledge:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent domain experience
Minimum of 1 year experience managing solutions or productions
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital advertising
Deep knowledge of video advertising formats and platforms preferred
Understanding of video advertising technologies and industry standards
Experience conducting market analysis and converting into business requirements
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
Knowledge of digital ad networks, ad serving technologies and behavioral targeting a definite plus.
Excellent Excel, Visio and statistical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel 20-30% of the time
At least one sample of an effective product specification delivered in the past

Preferred:

Knowledge of digital ad networks, ad serving technologies and behavioral targeting a definite plus
Experience working with enterprise software development teams.
Comfortable working with structured data
