- Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Object-oriented design and coding skills in Java or C++.
- Experience building large scale, high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment.
- Self-directed and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent technical, problem solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years of experience is required.
- Hands-on experience developing with Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML Web Services. Perl, MySQL, Oracle, and Linux is a plus.

- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
