Reporting to the Account Management Director, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for driving AOL’s product sales efforts with current strategic Consumer Package Goods (CPG) partners and hunting sales opportunities with new CPG partners. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for identifying strategic business partnership opportunities, managing coupon operation, as well as customer care initiatives. He/she will be a strategic, creative thinker that will devise and frame approaches to meet revenue targets and will help with in contract negotiations, and therefore, must be an adept negotiator and salesman. He/she will fully understand each partner’s long-term strategies and will tie that knowledge to the sales pitches to best position AOL for growth. The Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for relationship management with existing strategic business partners including CPG’s, Retailers, Aggregators/Technology Partners and internal constituents. 

This position requires a strong skill set in project management and detailed execution. He/she will effortlessly communicate across all levels of AOL and partner organizations to sell key constituents on new programs/services, make product development suggestions and draft business requirements to manage projects from idea to implementation. Also, he/she will have strong budgeting and forecast experience to support the business planning requirements of the position. This position requires a self-starter who can hit the ground running to achieve revenue and operational goals and will flourish in a team environment, exude positive energy and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
• BA/BS Degree required
• Assertive, entrepreneurial business person with 5 years of experience in marketing/sales, partner management, business management, business development.
• 5 years of experience in the CPG industry with strong contacts in many leading companies.
• Proven skill in executing sales plans to meet short term business objectives and evolve partner relationships to ensure future growth.
• Strong experience in business negotiations.
• Ability to communicate and cultivate relationships with internal customers and external partners.
• Ability to work with various internal & external resources.
• Expertise in delivering solutions and value to retail and/or CPG partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to operate within and foster a team environment.
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills mandatory.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure, dynamic atmosphere.
• Solid presentation, strong project management skills and acute attention to detail.
