About the Role:
The successful candidate will be a strongly quantitatively oriented individual with a deep understanding of the metrics behind media sites and the tools used to measure them. They will also be highly creative in their pursuit of more traffic and audience for our sites, and have the executive ability and initiative to craft projects and ensure their execution by enlisting the needed resources around the group and AOL. The audience development manager will have a relentless passion for measurement and testing, and through that passion evangelize the entire team about the importance as well as the subject of audience development.

-Track overall metrics for all group media properties, web and mobile
-Keep management briefed on trends/issues in metrics
-Unearth areas for optimization to drive more traffic, more audience.
-Develop and lead those projects across the group.
-Role will cover TC and Engadget/AOL Tech

-Minimum five years of experience working in media on audience development projects and strategy
-Deep knowledge of core areas such as SEO, SEM, social, syndication, email
-Expert understanding of site metrics and UX-based audience engineering (recirculation etc.)
-Hands on experience sculpting traffic partnerships
-Familiarity with mobile web and mobile app audience development strategies
