Advance Ad Sales West Intern
Our West Coast Advance Sales team is seeking an ambitious, intelligent and motivated college intern to join their team this spring! Our advance sales team spans across all regions, which is sub-300 accounts and other key product sales areas such as AOL.com. The West's team is actively exceeding expectations and quarterly revenue goals. This is a great opportunity to learn from and work with a winning team!
The sales intern will have the opportunity to learn about the sales process, with focus on the pre-sale phase: research, preparation, proposal development and the opportunity to hone public speaking/presenting skills! In this position you will:
-Work with sales professionals to develop proposals, provide deal evaluation, sales negotiation, revisions and follow up
-Learn to input RFP responses in our internal systems, client templates and third party planning systems
-Communicate with internal customers to monitor campaign delivery and compliance ensuring revenue recognition and that all client objectives are reached
-Track and analyze usage trends and prepare sales and internal reports
-Use third party research told to support plan recommendations and provide competitive spending analysis
Requirements for Success:

-You're a problem solver and are a master of making innovative and creative solutions
-You are a rising Senior or 2012 graduate and have the ability to work 25+ hours a week
-You have demonstrated excellent communication skills--both written and verbal
-You have had internships in the digital space and demonstrate an interest in the medium!
