The Sales Development Manager is a creative, solutions-oriented expert who partners with AOL Advertising advertisers, the AOL Advertising sales force, vertical and product sales, marketing and operations to leverage the full breadth and scale of AOL Advertising content, properties, research and technologies in the service of advertisers' marketing objectives. This expert will apply creative innovation in line with the needs of advertisers to create compelling solutions and drive advertising revenue.

•Partner with regional sales leads and category teams to manage needs of the marketplace and sales force in order to increase regional and vertical revenue.
•Strategically assess the competitive landscape and prioritize revenue opportunities.
•Partner with AOL Advertising’s sales force to lead the development of specific ideas and guide in the development of key customer proposals, upfront meetings and strategy sessions.
•Create customizable and scalable strategic advertising solutions by leveraging and integrating various marketing tactics across multiple platforms
•Revisit and refine client specific campaigns and account strategies as needed to ensure metrics and campaign goals are being achieved.
•Provide thought leadership about the evolution of advertising, emerging trends, technologies, entertainment and media.
•Build internal relationships to facilitate cross disciplinary collaboration with key AOL Advertising constituents, including sales, product, promotions and operations team.
•Serve as a resource to other team Strategy Team members.

•Minimum of 5 years of online media/marketing experience
•Demonstrated track record of developing advertising solutions for Fortune 500 clients
•Fundamental understanding of ad networks and web portals
•Technical mastery of MS Office Tools
•Solid business presentation skills
•Degree in Advertising, Communication, Marketing or related discipline, MBA a plus
