IMDb, an Amazon-owned company, is a leader within the entertainment industry, reaching more than 100m customers monthly. Our apps and services are built upon a rapidly growing database of entertainment content.
This position, within the Marketing and Editorial team, is a crucial function tasked with mining our fast-growing database and help us:
· understand IMDb's customer behavior at the individual and aggregate level
· develop predictive models that enable our marketing programs
· tackle large projects designed to influence the management of our traffic-driving programs
The ideal candidate has outstanding business acumen, intense curiosity, excellent analytical abilities, strong technical skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. He/she will have a strong bias toward data driven decision making. He/she will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities:
· Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations that will help shape the future of IMDb.
· Work with large databases to generate user behavior insights; identify drivers and traffic trends
· Identify core metrics, build reporting and analysis to identify yield trends and opportunities.
· Develop and support predictive modeling, analysis and reporting techniques related to segmentation and trend analysis.
