Job Summary:
This position will assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives within the Marketing & Brand Strategy teams with the goal of delivering effective programs that drive incremental sales and traffic.

Job Description:
The Graphic Designer will play an integral role in growing our business and we are seeking designers who understand Vector Media's overall goals. The ideal candidate is a junior to mid-level designer with relevant work in the advertising industry, branding, or marketing realm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall art direction of the business and work across multiple channels. Developing and contributing to our photographic workflow and image selection, graphic design, marketing, and branding will also be part of this role. You must be willing to roll up your sleeves, develop, plan and execute. You will need strong organizational and interpersonal skills to excel in this role. Vector is particularly looking for a highly motivated, do-it-yourself individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. This is a full-time, salaried position that has potential to evolve as the company grows.

Key job responsibilities include:
- To create visually appealing, engaging marketing materials for all media in our inventory.
- Support Sales Manager on marketing efforts.
- Setting direction and lead ideation of on-brand, forward-thinking creative solutions across all media (OOH, digital, social) to meet business objectives
- Recognizing great ideas and pushing them forward
- Contributing to the new business development process – from ideation to pitch presentation

Expert-level knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign as well as Key Note and PowerPoint. Must be Mac proficient.

The successful candidate will offer a portfolio that demonstrates advanced conceptual, graphic design and illustration skills. S/he will also possess the ability to develop timelines; strong problem solving and analytical skills; well-developed organizational skills; an interest in mentoring co-workers; and an interest in joining a fast-paced, growing marketing organization.

Formal Education and Experience:
The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, illustration or related field as well as at least 2-3 years of experience as a graphic designer or illustrator.
