New York based news company seeks video executive to design, build and execute strategy for video production on digital mediums. Successful candidates should be resourceful, experienced, versed in business and economic topics, and able to innovate and think outside the box with regards to programming and operations. Proven ability to grow digital viewership is a must. Technical knowledge of digital video production is a plus.
The Executive Producer is responsible for managing the daily digital content of business news coverage across its many digital properties. This person will spearhead the editorial vision, manage a creative team of talented employees (includes TV anchors, reporters, editors and web producers) while maintaining the quality of the company’s digital content on mobile, online, and app platforms. Duties include directing writers, editors and producers to create content that meets traffic and revenue goals. Also, the Executive Producer will work with our Sales Team, HR, Creative, and others to develop new digital products that will help drive engagement, propose and use emerging technologies.
Responsibilities include:
•Will manage editors and producers that supervise digital verticals & digital properties, confirming each property has its own charm and editorial approach.
•Will manage the budget for all digital editorial content and editorial-related undertakings.
•Working with the Company to develop strategies for increasing streams and raising the Company’s brand awareness in the general digital space.
•Working with entire Editorial Department to manage the flow of resources and develop content strategies for covering major news events
•Head editorial and TV production powwows to create new digital campaign news /content and study figures to determine the performance of previous or present campaigns.
•Work in partnership with Ad Sales to develop or outline pitches for clients and probable sponsors.
•Will work directly with Social Media team, Sales and Public Relation teams to increase traffic and revenue streams by raising the Company’s brand awareness through social media, apps and SEO/SEM realizations.
•Will manage relations /syndication with partner media companies and build relationships within the business & media industries and blog groups to support the Company’s digital content.
•Analyze traffic movements and modify content tactics in simultaneously to boost uniques and revenue streams.

Basic Qualifications:
•8+ years of digital publishing experience for a TV / Broadcast network, major news publication or digital media property.
•Experienced in editing, influencing and piloting daily reports and bigger editorial campaigns under deadline pressure.
•Experience working in large companies with a group of people with different functional expertise and productively being in favor of initiatives along with opposite benefits.
•Ability to revolutionize and form new content skills through technological advancements.
•Deep understanding of competitive landscape and the ability to lead the original executions of digital content campaigns.
•Expertise of SEM, SEO and social media best practices.
