The Senior Product Manager uses strong communication, analytical, leadership and project management skills to accomplish the underlying tasks of the position, including:
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop growth strategies to drive the growth of the Selling on Amazon business
  • Work with other business partners to perform deep data driven analysis of businesses to surface actionable insights and product requirements
  • Drive the implementation of recommendations derived from analysis into product features
  • Partner with technical product managers to identify and influence development of new products, features, and functionalities
  • Write market, functional and system requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams
  • Create and maintain sequencing of projects, prioritization and tradeoffs against seller experience
  • Establish the pricing goals and supporting business metrics and indicators for success
  • Measure and analyze existing pricing rules for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a product management role in an online consumer focused or ecommerce company
  • 4+ years experience managing an online product or service lifecycle from inception to end-of-life
  • A demonstrated record of partnering and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals
  • A knowledge and/or understanding of structured content-driven Web applications, platforms, publishing, and/or technologies
  • Experience working with teams across the organization (i.e.; Program Management, Engineering teams, Category teams)
  • MBA Required
