Communications intern will be responsible for assisting with all retail and wholesale communications: events, charity sponsorships, advertising, visual merchandising, editions and gifts.

-Support special projects relating to events and partnerships (e.g. High Jewelry collection launch, internal and external boutique market events and sponsorships)
-Assist in all events including logistics coordination, compiling and maintaining budget and expenses, and coding invoices.
-Assist with ordering and maintaining communications materials including gifts (corporate and holiday gifts) and printed materials (catalogs, invitations).
-Maintain and communicate calendar of events.
-Develop presentations (event recaps) and provide project updates as needed.
-Perform administration functions including, but not limited to, PO procedures and invoice processing, ordering supplies, and maintenance of files.
-Coordinate internal and external meeting schedules.
-Coordinate wholesale manager meetings (including booking accommodations, meeting space, tracking expenses)
-Coordinate travel schedules and related expenses.
-Assist in monitoring Communications budgets (general billing and processing invoices).
-Lend support in the area of (Wholesale) Co-op advertising (coordination of proposals, ordering creative, maintaining budget, processing and filing of claims, and entry of plans into Plaza Advertising)
-Perform other duties and team projects as directed and as necessary.

Experience required:
-Degree in Communications, Marketing, or other related business is preferred
-Excellent knowledge of the English language and grammar
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills with strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Must be analytical with strong attention to details
-Previous experience in luxury is a plus
