We are currently seeking a Telesales Account Associate within our Classified Advertising department. The position incorporates both inside and outside sales responsibilities, has a client list and budget, and is required to make a specific number of calls per week.

Responsibilities:

- Increase existing business and generate new business to meet/exceed sales goals by maximizing advertising revenue through strong business relationships and exceptional client service

- Effectively manage prospect lists to achieve call targets, keep accurate records of all customer phone conservations and history of account.

- Strong knowledge of and ability to confidently present the core NY Post product and all related products/initiatives, using all available marketing and research tools. Product and initiatives include: Weekly sections, Special sections/magazines, NYPOST.COM, Classified programs, inserts, wraps, promotion/sponsorship opportunities, etc.

- Strong sales skills with the keen understanding of your client's business/industry, and the ability to identify their needs and develop solutions for them.


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-2 years sales and or adv agency experience in related fields

- Experience in print advertising sales is a plus

- Local Restaurant knowledge is a plus

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong sales skills with a proven track record

- Ability to develop key client, agency and industry relationships at all levels.

- Strong communication & presentation skills

- College degree
