The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketing team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced senior marketing manager to drive the adoption and usage of AWS cloud computing platform, with a focus on consumer, web, mobile and social applications. This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role for a fast growing, innovative business. As a Senior Marketing Manager on the AWS Marketing team, you are responsible for driving the success of the full platform of AWS services across an audience of developers building scalable, sophisticated, applications for consumers. You will be responsible for defining and driving on-point messaging, creating compelling content and building the strategic, customer focused marketing programs to generate global awareness and usage. The right candidate has successful experience in marketing, an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Owns the development of all value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for AWS services focused on building consumer applications, including Amazon EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS and Glacier Demonstrated ability in crafting & developing compelling audience-specific messages and tools (videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, demos, how to guides etc.), to be used on the web, live events and in campaigns. Proven ability to provide a narrative and clarity around technical products. Ability to display and foster strong technical credibility. Define and own the go-to-market approach by working with the marketing team to develop awesome global awareness programs and lead-gen campaigns, spanning online and in person events. Build and maintain positive relationships with the press and analysts. Identify and execute breakthrough marketing activities that reach developer and technical decision maker audiences effectively. Deliver clear, concise content for websites and social media.
