We seek an ad sales professional to join our Fine Homebuilding media sales team. Individual will be responsible to develop new business and grow existing client revenue from a large base of advertisers active within the category. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills a prerequisite. We are looking for someone eager to identify, foster, and maintain strong relationships with advertising agencies and clients in the territory, and to sell print, online, and integrated advertising, identify prospects, and penetrate the organization to the highest levels. Previous experience with construction or DIY categories a plus.

 Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Develop new business
  •  Maintain a high level of in-person sales calls with agencies, clients in the  territory
  •  Sell prospective advertisers and increase existing client revenue
  •  Develop selling strategies to drive new revenue through proactive,  innovative &  integrated media programs
  •  Develop sales plans and presentations/proposals
  •  Attend industry trade shows
  •  Maintain customer database information, sales forecasts and sales  activity reports



  •  5+ years sales experience preferred
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred
  •  Proven track record of overachievement
  •  Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and  Powerpoint) and ancillary database systems
