Editorial Producer (Health)
Responsibilities•Develop digital content strategy for cmwl.com and CMWL digital properties.•Develop SEO-friendly content, including recipes, articles, blog posts, and success stories. Includes development of URLs, tags, metadata, etc. Also includes management of inbound SEO content strategy.•Manage email newsletter development and deployment, including some HTML and reporting.•Manage online CMWL community and social network presence (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc).•Manage PR press release schedule, development and distribution.•Manage development of digital promotional assets (e.g., banners, etc), ensuring consistency of message and voice across all media.•Assist with editing/proofreading of CMWL program materials.Skills•Ability to generate compelling content that speaks to both consumers and physicians.•Excellent writing and editing abilities (in the health and health-related topics a bonus).•Ability to use web metrics tools to track effectiveness of SEO and Social online activity. •Ability to work closely with creative team to merge editorial/content with digital graphic design.•Project management and communication skills; ability to establish a vision and deliver projects on time and within budget.•Light technical skills (e.g. HTML) a plus.•Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.Experience•Strong portfolio showcasing development and management of health-related digital content.•Communicating scientific and/or medical concepts to broad and niche audiences.•Experience working with physicians a plus.
