Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Drive developer engagements to help them deliver world-class applications for Kindle.
  • Assist third-party app developers as they build applications that take advantage of Kindle devices and services.
  • Foster the Kindle developer community by engaging with developers in online forums, writing technical articles, and speaking at developer conferences and meetups.
  • Establish yourself as an expert on the Kindle and the Amazon SDKs.
  • Serve as a key member of the Business Development and Developer Relations team in helping to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the Kindle platform.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the developer community.
  • Provide ongoing support for developers.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have a BS in computer science or equivalent technical degree.
  • 3-5 years of hands on coding experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Mobile app development and Android.
  • Possess a minimum of 5-7 years of implementation/consulting/evangelism experience.
  • Experience working with producers or developers in the Games category is highly desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • Other qualifications include a track record of complex and creative problem solving, relationship management, and the desire to create and build new processes.

- Deep understanding of Android and mobile app development
- 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
- 3+ years of prior coding experience in Java, C++, C#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience in working effectively with third-party app developers

- Experience with game development methodologies/best practices and knowledge of games development processes
- Strong web application or mobile application development experience
