GamesRadar is looking for a prolific, energetic writer and editor to join our team of gaming fanatics! Do you know games? I mean really know games? And are you insightful and witty? Can you hit a deadline? Can you write a headline that will capture the Internet’s attention? Well then, we may be looking for you!

The ideal candidate will be able to write anything that is thrown his/her way. We’re talking feature stories, news, previews, reviews, editorials, and more. And you need to be able to do so across genres. We work in a very fast-paced environment, so your work needs to be produced quickly and cleanly under tight deadlines. This means your knowledge of games and the industry at large must be top-notch.

Other needs? Social media. We’re looking for someone who already knows all the tools out there and can help develop and grow our social media channels. What else? Hard-working, obviously. But you also need to be a self-starter who can pitch new ideas, and then execute upon their delivery. We need you to be extremely committed to creating high-quality content, and flexible in the way you do so.

If this sounds like you, gather up your writing samples and let us know! We’ve listed below some of the specific stuff our Associate Editor will need to do. Be ready to share and talk about your experience and skills on each point.

•Review/preview games as assigned across all platforms to meet scheduled deadlines.
•Brainstorm ideas and produce creative, insightful, and well-written features on a tight schedule.
•Develop and maintain productive industry, PR relationships.
•Produce and participate in GamesRadar podcasts and videos with the other editors.
•Understand and follow SEO guidelines and processes.
•Engage and interact with our community via and social networks.
•Manage promotion on GamesRadar as well as other social media channels.

•Knowledge of games across multiple generations.
•Passion for games and gamer culture.
•Proven ability to work in a super fast-paced environment, juggle multiple stories and schedules, and meet deadlines.
•BA or BS in English, Journalism, or related field is highly preferred.
