We seek an experienced, intelligent and aggressive advertising sales professional who wishes to partake in both sales and strategy within a unique corporate setting

The Account Executive East Coast is an opportunity to carve out a region and own a vertical or verticals. This position works hand in hand with the head of sales to help generate revenue and execute on strategy in your region. While your previous experience and a strong advertising background are important, we are an art site, so it is crucial that you have passion for building and selling advertising products targeted to artists and art enthusiasts.

The Job:

  1. Set agenda for digital sales growth, maintain business plans and execute to bring plans to
    fruition.

  2. Identify key client and agency relationships within your vertical/region that will optimize the
    brand and revenue.

  3. Leverage your network of brands and agencies.

  4. Work closely with advertising technology and nuanced metrics.

  5. Multi task through a steady flow of meetings, projects and strategy related exercises.



Requirements:

  1. Deep understanding of online advertising sales and products, site monetization strategies, and trends in advertising.

  2. Bachelors degree required (or 4 years of relevant experience selling online advertising)

  3. 4-8+ years of online selling experience

  4. Experience with conceptualizing digital and integrated ideas and writing or directing proposals for major accounts.

  5. A solid understanding of account planning/strategic planning in an advertising agency or digital media property.

  6. Knowledge of building sponsorships and other advertising programs

  7. Extremely detailed oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  8. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  9. Experience working in a fast paced, constantly evolving, team environment in a large media or entertainment company



A successful performer in this role will:

  1. Conduct outcome driven negotiations maintaining integrity and relationships while delivering results that are focused on what’s best for the company and customer

  2. Grow advertising revenue regionally through sales efforts and sponsorships

  3. Own, develop and maintain relationships with high level customers

  4. Have passion for entrepreneurial environments

  5. Consistently perform above target
