Do you have a background in radio news and media relations that has expanded to include video and new media? If so, a fast growing, top ranked marketing communications agency in DC has your dream job.


•Draft and produce compelling and topical audio news content
•Successfully pitch content to radio outlets, news sites and bloggers as well as lead a team of pitchers
•Pitch bloggers using traditional techniques as well other social media
•Provide agency with ongoing updates on Industry trends and technology with recommendations on how to integrate into systems and services
•Develop new ways to quantify results/metrics
•Develop new services
•Understand client needs and exceed expectations
•Deliver finished projects on time and within budget
•Expand vendor network


•Three to five (5-7) years experience in the PR/communications field with demonstrated success pitching and placing stories with broadcast and online media
•Solid traditional media relations and reporting skills
•Client service experience
•Skilled manager
•Out-of-the-box thinking
•Passion for the Marketing/PR industry and understanding and tracking of the changing landscape
•A news junkie
•Outstanding verbal, written and communications skills
•Ability to find solutions to challenging situations
•Demonstrated success negotiating with vendors
•Ability to prioritize, attention to detail and handle multiple assignments/projects
•Working knowledge of Excel, Final Cut Pro, video editing and shooting skills a plus
