PR News, the leading brand among public relations and marketing professionals, is seeking a Conference Associate to join a fast-growing division of Access Intelligence in our Rockville, MD or NYC office. Our events, publications, books, training and related web site ( serve thousands of communicators, and offer a fun, fast-paced environment with passionate people who love the industry they cover.

As a Conference Associate in the PR News Group, you will be responsible for assisting with conference content development and implementation. You will be responsible for:

Structuring the conference agenda
Building long-term relationships and recruiting executives to be speakers at our conferences and industry roundtables
Identifying industry trends and developing conference agendas in various industries based on market research
Effectively communicating and providing guidance to marketing, sales and sponsorship departments
Writing conference brochure copy

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision and will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in event/conference planning or has served in an editorial capacity at a media organization and helped secure speakers for events and/or Webinars. Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks and meet required deadlines. Candidates who are well versed in marketing and PR trends and issues are highly desired.
