The PEOPLE Digital Group is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, focused individual to assist with all aspects of our online sales and marketing efforts. The Sales Planning Senior Manager will develop and manage creative, production and sales support for online advertising efforts. We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong managerial skills who can work collaboratively as a team player along with sales and marketing teams across the PEOPLE brand. This individual should be highly detail oriented, can thrive in a deadline-driven environment and has a strong understanding of the digital space online advertising platforms and executions. This is an ideal position for a candidate with strong online advertising experience to grow within an exciting and dynamic organization. This position is based in New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• 5-7 years experience in digital media and planning
• Strong operational background; project management experience a plus
• Work closely with the digital sales, digital marketing and editorial teams to develop new and creative programs that deliver on client objectives for all online RFPs.
• Experience managing a staff (3 direct reports)
• Assist in development of compelling sales proposals, media plans, and presentations for growing digital business.
• Work closely with Ad Operations and Sales Planning to ensure programs are executable and deliver in full.
• Work with management team to help set digital go-to-market strategy and tactically implement to drive greater revenue via smarter packaging, pricing (rate card management), and positioning with the marketplace to maximize use of inventory.
• Forge strong relationships with Sales management to communicate and collaborate strategy
• Serve as an industry expert with a firm handle on the current digital advertising landscape including a strong interest and understanding of mobile, social media, and emerging technologies
• Responsible for helping drive new revenue opportunities (working with Sales, Ad Ops, Product team, etc.)
• Collaborate on production of online ad sales materials and collateral, incorporating research data where necessary.
