Digitally oriented Advertising Sales Executive
We have openings for seasoned local-oriented Digitally oriented Advertising Sales Executive in the NYC area and in other markets. This position will be responsible for prospecting, identifying opportunities, building new business relationships, and generating revenue for digital advertising. Focusing on growing existing accounts and acquiring new clients, this position will be primarily placing outbound sales calls (to include cold-calls), conducting face-to-face meetings, making sales presentations, and prospecting. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the business challenges facing advertisers and the executive presence to convert those challenges to sales. To be successful, he or she will be resourceful and strategic with strong “hunter” instincts and the ability to penetrate accounts and prospective companies. Sales duties are focused primarily on online media but also will include events, sponsorships, print and 360 integrations. Candidate must understand realities of local sales. Roles and Responsibilities: •Effectively obtain new business •Provide insight and develop new client relationships •Manage and improve existing client relationships •Work within a team of sales executives and coordinate efforts •Follow-up and close potential sale leads •Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue income bench marks •Effectively communicate digital analytics to customers•Use Salesforce to generate orders and reports•Write sales pitches and create business development proposals for both traditional and non-traditional sales. •Networking with industry including evening events•Belonging and being active in industry associations•Able to Act as one man agency to help clients market to event industryJOB REQUIREMENTS•Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree a plus•You are a strategic thinker, with the ability to translate marketer needs into compelling concepts and solutions•You have great written and oral skills•You are comfortable and proficient with the entire sales cycle from prospecting, face to face meetings, pitching and contract negotiations•Possess superb organizational, written, and verbal communication skills•Proven track record of revenue generation•In depth understanding of digital media •Working Knowledge of Sales Force or similar platforms.•Proven collaboration skills•Minimum of 3 years of online media experience •Passionate student of online media best practices and trends•Computer literate on multiple platforms•Social Media Savvy (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc)For further information please forward a detailed resume To firstname.lastname@example.orgSend resume, salary requirements and cover letter via email only.
