Future is seeking a Business Development Director will be responsible for new business development of content marketing programs within the primary categories of healthcare, eLearning, business/consumer technologies, and other targets set by the VP of Sales and Business Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a sales strategy to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities:

•Foster existing relationships to develop new custom content marketing products.
•Develop and execute strategies for lead generation, sales, pricing and all other matters related to revenue generation
•Personally pursue and close key sales opportunities and managing the sales process
•Liaise with internal teams from multiple disciplines to pursue key prospects and produce first rate marketing and pitch materials.
•Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
•Ensure sales offerings are closely coordinated and in alignment with internal product offerings
•Build a professional and trusting relationship with a clients
•Ability to understand the clients strategic objectives and convert this into a business opportunity
•Understand the clients competitors and what they are doing
•Understand the business and marketing challenges faced by our clients
•Understand our competitors and how we differ
•Create clear, precise and properly detailed client job instructions/ documentation
•Ability to lead contract negotiations and working with general Counsel, Sales, Marketing and Finance

Requirements:

•Five years of Sales and/or Business Development experience
•Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred
•Experience prospecting in content marketing space
•Excellent sales and communication skills and ability to manage the sales process
•Experience in working with senior management to align sales strategies and solutions
•Advanced project management skills
•Proven track record or winning business in the Healthcare, eLearning
•Experience managing a budget on new business projects
•Ability to accurately forecast revenues from each client
•Ability to travel domestically and internationally
•Ability to present in front of a large group in front of a large group of stakeholders
•A solid rolodex of contacts in the Healthcare industry
•Candidate will be based in the South San Francisco office
