Are you a social media butterfly whose friends are actively looking for support groups to aid your Facebook, Twitter and blogging addictions? We could possibly be your outlet! AOL’s Branded Experience team is looking for a creative, organized, social media-savvy intern to start immediately and continue at minimum, part time into the fall semester.The interns will serve as a social ambassadors and assist the GMC Trade Secrets program with social media management, talent social activity and blog press outreach. This is a great opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure while learning the nuances of corporate social media from one of its inventors.


·Tweeting on our GMC Trade Secrets account several times per day, sharing new videos and re- tweeting relevant content
·Posting new videos, asking questions and polls, responding to questions/comments and posting on relevant pages on Facebook
·Monitoring and keeping track of talent social media activity
·Interacting with talent through social media
·Reminding talent to tweet/post on social media through twice-weekly emails
·Outreach to existing blogger list with new videos and content they may be interested in
·Updating Google Docs with monthly social media numbers
·Providing weekly reports on numbers of tweets/posts and social interactions from fans

What we look for:

·you have a major in communication, journalism or advertising
·you’re a social media force of nature who can communicate content proficiently to audiences through Facebook, Twitter and blogs
·you know your way around PowerPoint and can create decks that will delight, surprise and inform using multi-media
·you’re BFFs with Excel and can utilize it for data collection, management and generating statistic reports
·you communicate in black and white like a champ, are well organized, and are able to prioritize with minimal hand holding
·you are a collaborator – you like people, people like you – and you can work effectively across functions and personalities
